The witness and a companion were slowly driving with headlights off and dogs in the truck to scent a coon near a creek crossing. Turning on the lights to climb a hill, they startled a large reddish-brown animal that moved on all fours alongside the truck. At the top of the hill it rose to two legs without stopping and ran bent over down the tree line before re-entering the woods. The pair left the area immediately and did not return to hunt there.
