Two young hunters find trackway
Account
The witness and a companion returned in the morning to a clear-cut where deer had been taken the day before to look for fresh sign. In a muddy strip beside the road they found much larger human-like tracks that the witness did not consider to be bear, with a very long stride. They followed the tracks a short distance until the tracks stopped, then left the area and did not return.
