The witness was riding logging roads and stopped off the road in a remote forested area. They found very large flat-footed footprints in soft dirt that went straight uphill across switchbacks. The witness considered and dismissed a hoax due to the remoteness and felt uneasy thinking the track-maker may have visited the creek near the cabin where the witness lived.
