Footsteps in Arkansas (2017)
Account
The witness spent five days alone at a bushcraft camp he had built in remote woods, sensing surveillance from the first hours. Unseen presences circled the camp day and night, matching his movements, approaching the shelter, responding to his unspoken thoughts including a spoken no, exchanging whistles, whoops and guttural chatter, and at times sounding like two or more individuals. On the final morning while he packed, small pebbles were tossed over the shelter near the fire pit until he said aloud he was leaving, after which footsteps receded.
