Vocalization in Alaska
Account
Sleeping beside a gravel road before a caribou hunt, the witness heard sniffing and heavy grunting circling the tent. The steps sounded soft rather than hoof-like. When he began unzipping the tent it huffed and moved away into brush without being seen.
