The witness was walking along Interstate 5 after failing to get a ride and noticed a strong foul smell. The witness then saw a huge bear-like figure moving along the distant tree line staring toward the road before turning into the forest. Frightened, the witness ran north along the highway until a passing van stopped and gave a ride.
